Sometimes, finding the right words can be difficult. Whether it's expressing a feeling, communicating a sensory need or simply answering yes or no, having a visual way to communicate can make everyday situations a little easier.

These 3D-printed SEN communication cards were originally designed for my daughter, to help her navigate the challenges she faces at school and in the big, wide world. As a parent, I wanted something simple, practical and personal that she could use to express herself when words weren't always easy.

What started as something for my own family has grown into a product I'd love to share with other families who may find them helpful, too. 💛

Durable PLA construction: 3D printed for everyday use.
Compact size: Each card measures 50 mm × 65 mm.
2 mm thick base: Lightweight and easy to carry.
Raised design: The text and illustration stand 2 mm proud of the base, giving the cards a tactile finish.
Keyring loop hole: Located in the top-left corner, ready for a keyring, binder ring or attachment of your choice.
Customisable colours: Choose your base colour and raised design colour to create a combination that suits you.

Every child is different, and what helps one child may not work for another. These cards are intended as a practical communication aid and can be used alongside a child's existing communication methods and support.

Please note: These cards are 3D-printed, so minor surface variations may occur. Colours may also look slightly different depending on your screen. PLA can soften in high temperatures, so keep cards away from excessive heat. They are not toys for chewing and should be used with appropriate supervision.
